We will be updating this page hour by hour on how Hudson First is aiding in disaster relief for Caldwell County (and surrounding areas) and how you can come along side of us to help!

What we have done:

• Open Facility - We immediatly opened up our Life Center for those needing a shower, to charge their devices, use our wifi, and be in the air conditioning. Our Sanctuary was also open to anyone wanting to pray. 
• Wednesday, October 2, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm we collected supplies to be packed and distributed to those in need. We collected: Sliced Bread, Peanut Butter, Crackers, Fruit Snacks, Canned Meats (Pull Tabs), Fruit, Chips, Water, Juice,  Granola Bars, Debbie Cakes, Feminine Hygiene Products, Formula, Diapers, Wipes, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Plastic Bags. Alongside our supplies drive, we fed all volunteers AND the community a spaghetti dinner!
• On October 3rd and 4th from 2-6PM we opened our facility to anyone who needed supplies. We successfully gave away the majority of the supplies to those in need during those 2 days.
• We created serving teams to clean up fallen trees, deliver food, and to man the Life Center during open facility hours. We were able to meet real needs in our local community!
• We also created teams to go out to the local laundrymats to pay for wash and dry cycles for those who did not have power.

What we are doing now:

We are shifting our focus to the mountains! We are partnering with churches and individuals to get specific supplies to the hardest hit areas. Check back here for updates on what our next supply collection will be.
